Just recently our AS 5 CR 2 release went out, and it passes the Java EE 5 TCK, and now the hits just keep on coming.
Our Mobicents project is now the first open source project that is JSR-289 compliant, which is the SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) Servlet 1.1 specification.
Congratulations goes out to the entire Mobicents team! Great job. Besides being the first open source JSR-298 compliant container, Mobicents is also JSLEE 1.0 compliant as well, bringing the entire range of telecommunications specifications to bear.
If you are interested in more information about Mobicents, and our JBoss Communications Platform based on Mobicents, then see Jean Deruelle's blog post on the new SIP Servlets container, the Mobicents project page on JBoss.org, and finally the JBoss Communications Platform page on the Red Hat website.
